Job description
Allstaff Office Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of IT Support Technician. This is a temporary role for approx. six months potentially longer.
The IT Support Technician job will be to assist with IT Management as needed to maintain the IT systems, and support end users throughout the group.
Daily Responsibilities
Supporting end users to troubleshoot a variety of IT related issues, including ERP system & company software use.
Carry out Network Monitoring, Resolving faults with PC's, printers, phones and other network devices. Software & hardware installations/upgrades.
Maintaining backup routines, server maintenance, websites and general marketing duties. and a wide variety of other IT related tasks.
Requirements
Must have a strong interest in IT and technology, and be keen to learn new skills.
Good problem solving skills are essential, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Windows 11, MS Office Excel/Word/Outlook.
Desirable Skills
Previous experience in an IT Support role would be advantageous.
Knowledge of some of the following technologies will be a definite advantage:
Windows Server 2019/2025, Backup/Disaster Recovery, Business Central (or another ERP system), Telephony systems, Cyber security, Website design / PHP, Networking, SQL Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Ubuntu OS.
This is an ideal position for someone with a strong interest in IT.
Although primarily based in our head office, there may be occasional requirement to travel to our other sites.
