Job description
The Quality Assurance Technician ensures that products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality, safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance. They monitor production processes, inspect raw materials and finished goods, and perform routine testing to ensure adherence to company procedures, customer requirements, and GMP standards.
Key responsibilities include maintaining strict hygiene practices, carrying out GMP assessments and internal audits, and ensuring all activities follow documented procedures and quality systems. The QA Technician investigates product quality issues on-site and from customer complaints, driving the implementation of effective CAPA plans in collaboration with relevant teams.
As a shift-based quality specialist, they recommend improvements for shift-related quality failures and lead initiatives that uphold the company values of Teamwork, Integrity, Excellence, and Safety. They work closely with Production, R&D, and Maintenance teams to resolve deviations, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
The QA Technician also demonstrates a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, ensuring every batch of product is safe, hygienically produced, compliant, and meets approved processes-protecting product quality, minimising waste, and safeguarding the brand's reputation.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Root cause analysis?, · Proven experience in a Quality and/or Hygiene role within a food manufacturing, beverage, or FMCG environment
· Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22716, or equivalent quality management systems.
· Experience using quality management software or digital data systems.

· Proficiency in Microsoft software packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
