Job description
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for testing, validating, and managing all STATSports hardware products that pass through our QA function. You will work closely with the Testing Supervisor and wider Operations team to ensure products are fully functional, correctly configured, and ready for use by elite athletes and professional teams worldwide. This role requires strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and an ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment., * Take ownership of all products passing through the QA process within the warehouse. *
- Perform functional testing on all STATSports hardware and accurately record results.
- Manage new and returned products, including firmware updates, device setup, and configuration.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, identifying and documenting root causes.
- Ensure smooth and efficient movement of stock between warehouse locations in collaboration with the QA and Operations teams.
- Maintain accurate records using NAV ERP and Microsoft Excel.
- Produce weekly reports detailing testing outcomes and volumes of new and returned products.
- Communicate regularly with the Testing Supervisor and Head of Operations regarding trends, recurring issues, and process improvements.
- Follow all operational procedures, QA standards, and reporting structures.
- Uphold high standards of health & safety, hygiene, and security at all times.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of QA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, * Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
- Highly motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Desirable Experience
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
- Experience configuring and setting up electronic devices (e.g. mobile devices, Wi-Fi, hardware products).
- Previous experience troubleshooting technical issues and identifying root causes.
- Experience with inventory management, stock movement, or reporting.
- Interest or background in sport, with an understanding of the expectations of elite sporting clients.
