Embedded Software Engineer - Automotive Sector

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join a leading company in the automotive sector. This is an onsite role in Sint Truiden, where you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and testing of advanced automotive software systems., Specify, design, implement, and document software functionalities Work closely with the SW Verification and Validation team to develop test specifications and write test cases Develop new software and maintain existing products Collaborate with System and Application software teams to solve complex technical challenges Assist in diagnosing software-level issues Develop and maintain technical documentation Participate in agile development environments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent Minimum 5 years of experience in Embedded Software development Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software systems Experience with Autosar configuration Familiarity with automotive software development standards (e.g., ASPICE) Good understanding of software architecture principles Proficient in static and dynamic code analysis methodologies and tools Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Pragmatic, proactive, and solution-oriented Organized and detail oriented Fluent in English
