Job description
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver who enjoys helping others stay productive? Our client is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join their global support team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for employees, providing high-quality technical support via phone and chat, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network issues, and ensuring our workforce stays connected.
What You'll Do:
- Provide front-line support to global users, troubleshooting OS, VPN and networking issues.
- Take ownership of incidents from start to finish, ensuring quick resolution and high user satisfaction.
- Facilitate new hire setups and train employees on key applications and collaboration tools.
- Maintain IT assets, perform software/hardware upgrades and support small IT projects.
- Document solutions and contribute to the team knowledge base.
Requirements
- 1 year+ help desk or desktop support experience, ideally in a global or hybrid environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, iOS, Android, Office 365, Google Workspace and remote support tools.
- Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms, Active Directory, VPNs and networking concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Understanding of ITIL basics is a plus.
