Job description
We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all site-based IT infrastructure and systems operate smoothly and efficiently while also providing strong knowledge with troubleshooting problems and delivering effective solutions. You will be the on-site go to technical expert working with all departments across the business to ensure that the organisation maintains all aspects of IT efficiency., · Providing hands on IT support across the site, including hardware, software, network and industrial systems.
· Manage and maintain site specific IT infrastructure (servers, switches, routers, firewalls and wireless networks)
· Support and troubleshoot production-related MES & MRP systems including their dependencies from an integration viewpoint.
· Ensure cyber-security protocols are consistently followed and support with audits and compliance
· Liaise with central Group IT and third-party vendors for escalations, upgrades, and project rollouts
· Maintain asset inventory, documentation, and change logs
· Participate in business continuity planning and disaster recovery testing
· Train and support end-users across all departments in the business
Requirements
Do you have experience in WAN?, · Proven experience in IT support or infrastructure roles, ideally within manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments
· Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory & Azure, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 administration
· Experience with networking (LAN/WAN), VPNs, and Cisco Meraki or a similar hardware
· Excellent troubleshooting, communication skills, and ability to document processes.
· Awareness and experience of database relationships & supporting product integrations
· Flexible and dynamic while also able to multitask to priorities in a fast-paced environment.
