Our client's HR organization has a global presence, with global HR Business Partners and with local HR officers delivering HR service to the business. Their Centres of Expertise are active globally in advising, supporting, and enabling the HR service delivery. As a Senior leader in HR Technology, you will be part of the Enabling Function's transformation team. The enabling functions at our client consist of HR, Finance, ICT and Legal., to the Global Process Owner Hire-to-retire who also oversees Business Process Experts and the HR Product Manager Analytics.Responsibilities· Lead the full lifecycle management of Workday HCM and HR technology.· Act as the primary liaison between HR, Finance and ICT to translate complex organizational needs into effective Workday solutions.· Act as expert-level operational support for HR-Technology related incidents and problems. Manage/coordinate escalations to the vendor if needed.· Coordinate and deliver key tasks in all phases of Workday projects including discovery, requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and user adoption.· Support and facilitate system integrations and data migrations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless operation across HR systems.· Develop and maintain robust business process documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer resources for HR and system users.· Oversee system security, user roles, and permissions, following best practices for safeguarding sensitive people data.· Drive the execution of change management, risk assessment, and issue resolution activities associated with Workday implementations and ongoing enhancements.· Support the Global Process Owner Hire-to-retire that owns and continuously improve the global H2R process and technology landscape· Support the Product manager Analytics in building high-quality reporting and analytics for Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and other modules, providing actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders.· Oversee program operations including KPI development, tracking of team deliverables, and system performance measurement.· Lead, coach, and develop a team of Workday Systems Experts, driving performance, skill development, and career growth.· Partner with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions, manage release cycles, and deliver high-impact enhancements.· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and standards affecting HR technology operations, including configuration and access controls comply with J-SOX and audit requirements.· Lead planning and execution for Workday's bi-annual releases.· Communication system changes and project outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.· Enable, and optimize self-service
Requirements
Expectations· If you're an experienced, enthusiastic and versatile HR Technology Practice Lead, we expect you to:· Master's degree in human resources, information system or technology, accounting, business administration, or a comparable qualification.· Have 8+ years of Global HR, (Cloud) Transformation, Technology, HRIS or related experience gained in innovative companies. Experience in consultancy and/or establishing the support model is a pre.· Have a successful track record in designing, implementing, and sustaining HR Technology initiatives. Proven experience with the wider Workday suite is a must, experience with other market-leading technologies is a pre.· Have strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills to partner with HR Business Partners and other senior leaders in various functions (e.g. ICT, Finance).· Like to share your knowledge and your expertise with colleagues, stakeholders and our customers.· High flexibility and the willingness to learn in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment with dynamic projects and technologies.· Pronounced sense of responsibility and service.· Experience working with system integrations and Workday Extend.· Background in SOX-compliant or regulated environments.· Exceptional analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to navigate and influence across all levels of the organization.· Familiarity with regulations, data privacy, and HR compliance best practices.· Passion for improving employee and customer experience through process innovation and scalable technology.· Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
