Job description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable IT Professional to support and develop our IT systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading system integrations, databases, and general IT operations, while also providing day-to-day technical support across the office and assisting with client-facing projects.
This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, presenting experience in front of key stakeholders.
This is a full-time role where you will be asked to work in the office when required but also with remote working flexibility., * Provide day-to-day IT support and maintenance for office systems, hardware, and software.
- Maintain and support EDI middleware solutions to ensure reliable data exchange.
- Manage and query SQL databases, including troubleshooting and basic optimisation.
- Support and maintain systems using the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Lead Customers IT-related projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.
- Liaise with internal teams and external clients to resolve technical issues
- Ensure IT systems are secure, stable, and aligned with business needs
- Travel to office locations and client sites as required
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Supply chain?, * Strong overall computer and IT skills
- Proven experience working with:
- Data Exchange (EDI, API)
- Middleware platforms
- SQL databases
- PowerBi Reporting
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience providing general IT support and office IT maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness and ability to travel to office locations and client meetings.
- Confident in presenting information to key internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of customs duty management systems and processes
- Demonstrable experience in project management or leading IT projects
- Experience working in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environments
