Data Analyst/Data Scientist/Quant Analyst - Hadoop, Python or R, SQL, Excel) Tableau- Manchester

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst/Data Scientist/Quant Analyst to join their Cars Data Science & Analytics team. You will support a key project optimizing the user experience for customers arriving via paid search. Working closely with product, engineering, and data teams, you'll use data to track progress, generate insights, and improve the customer journey.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver data analytics solutions from idea to implementation
• Prepare and analyze data from multiple sources to solve business problems
• Create clear, actionable visualizations and reports using Tableau and other tools
• Communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and product teams
• Influence decisions through data-driven insights

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field (Statistics, Math, Computer Science, etc.)
• 3+ years experience in data analysis or data science
• Strong skills in Hadoop, Python or R, SQL, Excel, and Tableau
• Experience with app analytics and conversion rate optimization (CRO) a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage stakeholder priorities
• Strong analytical thinking with commercial awareness
• Excellent communication skills to simplify complex data for varied audiences
