Job description

The Deployment Manager operates in a multi-cultural agile environment, works closely with Opcos leads and Spark Streams.

The collaborative efforts between Sonepar, and partners contribute to the development of processes and products aimed at driving digital transformation across various companies within the Sonepar group.

Considering this, the role of the Business Transformation Manager is crucial for the program's development and for ensuring that all transformation objectives are met within the planned timelines.

The Deployment Manager will be responsible for overseeing the work carried out by various streams and guiding them towards pre-defined business objectives.

He is responsible for taking leadership within the Spark adoption processes inside the OPCOs, by Implementing and guiding the OPCO management and teams through the transformation phases and milestones.

The scope of this role covers both Spark Product Portfolios CX and AX. The Deployment Manager is called to act from the initialization of the transformation project all the way through the project phases, covering all aspects of the project delivery. Throughout the mission, the Deployment Manager plays an important role in the synchronization of all the adoption streams (Integration, Data, Change…) to ensure the transformation is efficient and effective.

What success looks like

The role of a Deployment Manager is to lead and oversee the transformation of operation companies at Sonepar Group, to achieve its goals and objectives, while minimizing risks and using the planned methodology.

Main responsibilities :

Assess the current state of the business: Assess the work to be done during the first onboarding of a new OPCO. This activity includes the co-construction and co-execution of the action plan to bring the OPCO to the level of 'fundamentals' needed to start the Spark implementation. This is mainly done during the Exploration Phase.

Develop a transformation strategy: Based on the assessment, a Business Transformation Manager will execute the Discovery phase with the OPCO to construct the macro and micro action plan, that outlines the goals, objectives, and roadmap for the transformation initiative.

Governance: Setup the project governance bodies and facilitate the decision-making process.

Coordinate Streams: Ensure all streams are synchronized and that all tasks are executed in a timely manner with the expected level of quality using the Transformation Methodology.

Risk management: prevent, report and mitigate any risks that may occur.

Communicate and report: communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders based on OPCOS updates, report on the success of the transformation initiative, and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements.

Handover to post-go-live organization: Setup and handover post deployment operations to ensure the post go live processes are in place and that KPIs are following with a positive trend.

Outside Spark teams: synchronize and align with external teams (outside Spark) that might impact the Spark Roadmap (PDX, ERP program…).

Be the first point of contact (go to person) for the OPCOs and other partners regarding the 'Product, adoption process', The role - Your daily activities will be interesting, stimulating and varied... No two days are alike!

Requirements

Do you have experience in Spark?, +5 years of experience in implementing Transformation

You have strong leadership skills

You have worked in some form of customer facing role and you can influence both business and IT stakeholders, as well as work with a partner in a one team spirit

You have a multicultural experience

Relevant work experience in roles related to digital transformation, project management, or business strategy is essential. This experience should ideally include successful digital transformation projects.

Experience in agile methodology (preferred)
