Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced Change Manager to join our dynamic award winning team. The successful candidate will support and advise on the processes and procedures required to implement and sustain effective change control. This role will work alongside Project Controls Managers, Change Engineers and delivery teams to ensure changes are identified, assessed, approved and implemented in accordance with governance requirements. The role reports to the Baseline & Change Lead and contributes to the preparation and facilitation of ICC meetings and associated documentation.
The post-holder will operate within the Site Delivery Team to deliver a consistent, auditable and efficient change process that supports safe delivery to agreed cost, time and quality parameters., * Support the Baseline and Change lead to deliver a comprehensive Baseline and Change Management framework.
- Coordinate and facilitate change management activity across the Delivery Programme
- Assist in the development and implementation of the baseline management strategy, plans and procedures
- Coordinate inputs from schedule, cost, risk and commercial functions to facilitate end-to-end change to baselines, contracts and the wider programme
Requirements
Do you have experience in Primavera P6?, * Demonstrable professional experience within programme, project controls, commercial or related disciplines.
- Solid understanding of change control principles, baseline management and governance.
- Familiarity with project decomposition frameworks such as Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS).
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a large, multi-disciplinary corporate or programme environment.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data quality and continuous improvement
Desirable
- Experience of shaping and developing strategic changes for large programmes.
- Experience of managing contractors, consultants and advisors within complex construction or regulated programme environments.
- Membership of, or certification from, a recognised professional institution (e.g. APM, PMI) or equivalent.
- Practical working knowledge of project control processes and software tools (e.g. Primavera P6, Power BI, or similar).
- Understanding of standard forms of contract, early warning notices and the communications workflow between client and contractor.
- Demonstrable experience of producing and maintaining weekly and monthly programme reports and documentation.
- Ability to chair or facilitate programme/project meetings and workshops with multi-discipline stakeholders
