Job description

  • Manage and resolve Level 1, 2, and 3 Service Desk tickets independently with minimal support
  • Provide effective technical support across systems and applications, ensuring issues are identified, logged, and resolved effectively
  • Develop expertise in PointWires preferred tooling, providing clients effective endpoint management, security, and compliance with industry best practices
  • Participate in projects, process improvements, and technical enhancements with the team
  • Create, review, and maintain documentation for systems, configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Engage effectively with colleagues, users, clients, and partners through clear oral and written communication
  • Demonstrate logical problem-solving and decision-making in day-to-day tasks

Requirements

  • Relevant certifications (e.g. A+, Network+, Security+) are highly desirable
  • Experience in roles such as IT Engineer, Cyber Security Analyst, Service Desk Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Security Analyst, Network Security Engineer
  • Proven experience managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Workstations & Server Environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall management, and security principles
  • Knowledge of virtualisation technologies like VMWare, Hyper-V, and Proxmox
  • Familiarity with ITIL Principles and fundamental business operations
  • Knowledge or experience with endpoint management tools like MECM/SCCM, Intune, Tanium is advantageous
  • Experience with security monitoring tools such as PRTG, Nagios, and backup solutions like Veeam
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM & SOAR technologies such as Elastic, Splunk, Phantom is beneficial
  • Skills in PowerShell, Python, Ansible, and other automation languages are a plus
