Job description
- In this role, you will be a key component of our service desk as one of our engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing traditional desktop support, mainly remotely, with telephone contact.
- Supporting and maintaining our existing managed IT support client base.
- Assisting our Projects team in building and installing IT systems, which range from Cloud deployments to on-premise and cloud servers, including Azure PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS.

- Windows, We are excited to assist our client as they seek a 2nd Line Support Desk Engineer to join their growing IT team. This role offers a varied and interesting work environment focused on supporting a wide variety of Azure and Office 365 services.
Requirements
- We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Strong technical experience with Microsoft desktop operating systems and core applications, including Windows 11 and Office 2016.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Proficiency in supporting network-related technologies and equipment.
- Skills in diagnosing and resolving client application, connectivity, and hardware-related incidents.
- Understanding of backup and restore technologies.
- A valid driving license and access to transportation.
- Operational knowledge of Active Directory and understanding of NTFS permissions, hierarchy, and folder permissions.
- While not essential, the ideal candidate may also have experience in:
- An MSP environment.
- Azure and Microsoft 365.
Benefits & conditions
Salary: £26,000 - £31,000, depending on experience.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM.
Location: Bristol (Hybrid working with three days in the office).
