Job description

  • As a Platform Engineer, I will need you to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance. Your role will involve automating processes and monitoring system performance to enhance efficiency.

We are a nonprofit organization based in the UK and are excited to expand our Tech team with two new Platform Engineers. This position is fully remote within the UK, and you will be joining a dedicated team of 60, including 5 focused on Platform Engineering.

Requirements

  • Strong technical expertise in platform engineering and architecture.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure management tools.
  • Proficiency in coding and scripting for automation purposes.
  • Knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuning.
  • Understanding of security protocols and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Nice to have: Experience with PCI-DSS, Cyber Essentials, Infra as a Service, and Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500).
