Job description
As Document Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
- Receive documents in data, paper and electronic format.
- Establish and maintain paper and computer-based document filing systems.
- Review and distribute documents in line with agreed departmental procedures.
- Maintain accurate paper and computer-based records, logging distributed documents.
- Process responses to documents issued.
- Chase responses to documents issued where required.
- Administer requests for information.
- Conduct periodic archiving.
- Remain up to date with all company policies and procedures, industry legislation and guidance applicable to your subject field.
- Carry out other relevant duties as required from time to time.
- Supporting the communication and embedding of KierBams approach to document control

Requirements
- Monday - Friday; remote working will be possible with minimum of 3 days a week in KierBam Bridgwater Office., * You have experience on construction projects or in preconstruction teams (or similar environments) dealing with distribution of documents, drawings, comments and RFIs.
- You have experience problem solving using rigorous logic and methods
- Experience of working with Document Management Systems
- Knowledge of Bentley software packages such as EB and ProjectWise.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Software systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Acrobat editing software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint
- Understanding of Data Protection
