Job description

Join ING and help deliver the payment platforms that keep banking moving across Europe and beyond. As an IT Integrator, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-country payments initiatives - from country onboarding to ING's strategic payments stack (TIP / HVP / SEPA / Non-SEPA) to platform migrations and market infrastructure changes. In this role, you coordinate and drive delivery within Payments & Settlement Services, translating business and regulatory requirements into executable IT change. You ensure readiness across all stakeholders and secure successful onboarding of countries and services. You work closely with Product, Architecture, IT delivery squads, Ops/SRE, vendors, and local market teams to keep scope, timelines, readiness, and risk firmly under control, guiding change from Ready to Deliver through Go-Live and Stabilization., * Lead end to end delivery of payment transformations, including country onboarding to TIP/HVP/SEPA/Non SEPA services, legacy platform decommissioning, and market infrastructure changes.

  • Coordinate cross domain stakeholders: Product, Architecture, IT Delivery Squads, OPS, SRE, Vendors, and local market teams.
  • Drive the full change lifecycle: Flow to Ready Ready to Deliver Build/Test UAT Go Live Stabilization.
  • Ensure proper readiness standards (PSS FAT, PSS UAT, consumer UAT), clear acceptance criteria, and risk mitigation.
  • Translate regulatory and industry changes (e.g., ISO20022/CBPR+, SEPA rulebooks, PSD2) into actionable IT delivery.
  • Manage dependencies, remove blockers, orchestrate planning and timelines across multiple countries and product areas.
  • Support operational excellence and incident follow up together with Ops/SRE teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of ways of working within the IT Integrator Chapter.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Oracle?, * Mandatory: proven IT project delivery experience, preferably within banking or payments

  • 5+ years' experience in Payments, Banking, IT Integration, or IT Delivery
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing, preferably including ISO20022, cross border payments, HVP/TARGET services, SEPA, or domestic clearing.
  • Proven track record leading multi stakeholder IT deliveries or migrations.
  • Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence without formal authority.
  • Ability to manage complexity, navigate ambiguity, and ensure structured delivery in pressured timelines. Analytical mindset with strong problem solving capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • Strong character and soft skills are critical: a proactive problem-solver with a clear ownership mindset and strong stakeholder management capabilities
  • Medior to Senior level experience, at least 5 years
  • IT project delivery experience is mandatory, preferably in a banking environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience in delivering with vendor based solutions
  • Understanding of integration patterns and basic familiarity with Oracle/Java ecosystems.
  • Experience delivering regulatory change (CBPR+, SEPA rulebooks, PSD2, market infra migrations).

Benefits & conditions

What we offer:

  • Contract until mid-December 2026, with a possible extension.
  • 36 hour workweek with flexible hours and a hybrid working model (office and home-based).
  • Salary range: €5.485,70 - €6.970,00 gross per month (based on 36 hours per week, based on experience).
  • Additional benefits: holiday allowance, 13th month and pension contributions . Relocation services available for international candidates.
