Job DescriptionTechnical Specialist - HV Power & OT CyberTeesside, North EastSalary: up to £75,000 basic + benefits Jackson Hogg is thrilled to be exclusively partnering with a growing business based in Teesside, looking to bring a Technical Specialist to their team to be the subject matter expert across the business for HV Power and OT Cyber. Working closely with operational and sales teams in delivery and pre-sales, the role will guide and develop the solutions that this client provides. As part of the role, the Technical Specialist will develop a team of engineers to deliver complex solutions in the areas of both OT Cyber and Power, with key skills in certifications such as IEC 62443 and IEC 61850. Technical Specialist Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery & Technical LeadershipAct as the technical lead for cyber security across all the business and support engineering teams and customers with subject matter expertiseAct as the technical lead for Transmission and Distribution related work supporting operational delivery with emphasis on high-voltage capabilityLead technical definition, design, and implementation of secure systemsEnsure compliance with standards and best practiceSupport FAT, SAT, installation, commissioning, and fault-findingProvide technical assurance and reviewsBuild and develop a team of engineers to deliver power sector projects Pre-Sales, Bids & TenderingSupport pre-sales and solution developmentPrepare tenders, proposals, and cost estimatesAssist customer engagement during bid phases Collaboration & MentoringMentor engineers and support skills developmentProvide technical consultancy to colleagues and customersFoster a culture of collaboration and excellence Technical Specialist Key Requirements:Full project lifecycle experienceOT cyber security expertise (desirable)HV systems experience (main area)Technical documentation skillsDegree or HND/HNC in relevant disciplineEligible for security clearanceIEC 62443 / IEC 61850 / ISO 27001 knowledgeIndustrial networking and firewallsPLC/SCADA/DCS experience
