Job description
As a member of the Technology Risk IT Audit team, You will participate in strategic projects involving the review and audit of AI governance models, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. You will also contribute to defining improvement actions and providing ongoing advisory support to major clients, helping them deploy Responsible AI.
You will work closely with Technology Directors, Chief Data Officers, Chief AI Officers, Innovation Leaders, Business Leaders, and others, ensuring the effective management of risks associated with the use of AI.
As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you'll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You'll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.
Your key responsibilities
You will carry out, among others, the following tasks:
- Lead the definition, establishment, and review of AI governance models to ensure alignment with organizational strategies and business objectives.
- Develop and oversee organizational and operational models for the AI function, ensuring their effective integration into the business structure and alignment with industry best practices.
- Validate existing AI-related controls, assessing the design, implementation, and effectiveness of the established controls.
- Perform algorithm audits, reviewing key KPIs such as robustness, security, bias, interpretability, etc.
- Execute automated tests using computer-assisted audit techniques (CAAT) and tools such as ACL, IDEA, Alteryx, among others, to verify the operation, calculations, integrity, and consistency of AI-related business processes.
- Provide improvement recommendations based on the results obtained, advising clients on how to address weaknesses and enhance the controls within their technology and AI platforms.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with the European AI Act and other applicable regulations, acting as a point of contact for regulatory matters related to AI.
- Review AI analytical models using both traditional and generative techniques to drive innovation within the organization.
- Advise on international standards such as ISO 42001, NIST RMF, and other relevant frameworks, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of AI management.
Requirements
- A degree in fields such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
- At least 3-6 years of experience in artificial intelligence, AI risk management, or AI model auditing.
- Competency profile: We are looking for someone who is used to working in a team, outgoing, with strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. A person with initiative, critical thinking, willingness to learn, customer orientation, and the ability to manage complex projects.
Ideally, you'll also have
- Experience in defining AI governance policies and models.
- Languages: High level of English (minimum B1).
- Advanced knowledge of traditional and generative AI.
- Experience in regulatory compliance and AI-related regulations.
- Knowledge of standards and frameworks such as ISO 42001, NIST RMF, and similar international references.
