Job description
You will join one of the battery testing laboratories with the greatest capabilities in Europe during a period of significant growth. You will work with globally recognised customers within a team supervised by the Laboratory Technical Manager.
Your work will be focused on testing lithium-ion cells, including:
Commissioning testing equipment, assembling test components (e.g. jigs, sensors), high-power electrical wiring and integration of instrumentation elements. Drafting and strict monitoring of testing procedures and proposals for improving evaluation and testing methods. Conducting battery tests for each project under strict safety and quality protocols (ISO 17025) using state-of-the-art testing equipment. Programming test profiles, automating tests, processing data, and advanced interpretation of results. Preparing technical reports and documentation, and presenting findings to clients. Interacting and negotiating with suppliers, as well as collaborating with other departments within the organisation, including R&D technical teams, Purchasing, and Facilities. Maintaining equipment and the working area in optimal conditions.
Requirements
Master Degree or equivalent, Power electronics, energy storage, or a related field. Over 3 years of experience in a relevant environment, such as lithium-ion testing, power electronics, semiconductors, or energy storage. Experience in programming tests, standards, procedures, and report preparation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP/CRM systems. Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Prince 2, Lean Six Sigma) Fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish. High attention to detail and a strong sense of commitment.
Experience:
Experience working in a laboratory environment, testing centre, automotive sector, or energy storage systems.
