Job description

You'll play a key part in supporting our Senior Compliance Manager and Contracts Manager, helping to maintain our high standards of safety, quality and professionalism. From managing documentation and coordinating audit actions to supporting supplier approvals and helping to keep our teams informed, your work will help ensure our operations run efficiently and effectively.

What You'll Be Doing

Compliance & Health & Safety Support

  • Assisting with the smooth running of our Integrated Management System (IMS) and compliance activities
  • Supporting audits, inspections, and follow-up actions
  • Helping to promote a positive health & safety culture across the business
  • Acting as Fire Marshal and COSHH Coordinator (full training provided)

Document & Information Management

  • Managing project folders and documentation within SharePoint and Teams
  • Ensuring documents are accurate, up-to-date and aligned with company standards
  • Supporting effective version control and information organisation

Supplier & Subcontractor Administration

  • Maintaining approved supplier lists
  • Collecting and checking essential compliance documentation
  • Assisting with supplier performance reviews and renewal cycles

Internal Communications & Media

  • Helping manage and update our social and staff communication channels
  • Gathering good-news stories, drafting content, and supporting internal updates

General Coordination & Operational Support

  • Supporting weekly information gathering and meeting preparation
  • Updating shared logs, trackers, and action lists to keep the business aligned

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in SharePoint?, Do you have a GCSE?, Are you organised, proactive and great at keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We're looking for a Operations Support Coordinator to join our team and provide essential support across compliance, health & safety, document management, supplier administration and internal communications. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same., * Strong organisational and administrative skills

  • Good communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Confident using Microsoft 365 (SharePoint/Teams experience preferred)
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in compliance and health & is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided for the right person

Digital Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong IT competency with confidence using Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, and Excel
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and work efficiently with digital tools
  • A recognised IT-related qualification is beneficial but not essential, such as:
  • GCSE or A-Level in ICT / Computer Science
  • ECDL / ICDL (European or International Computer Driving Licence)
  • Level 2 or Level 3 IT User Skills (Ofqual-regulated)
  • Equivalent workplace experience demonstrating strong digital capability
