Job description
The successful candidate Will act as the primary operational interface between the client, UK operations, and Indra's global headquarters in Spain.
Key duties include:
- Take over and service ownership and leadership, overall accountability for infrastructure services scope, quality and outcomes, govern delivery against KPIs/SLAs.
- Team leadership: build, motivate and develop high-performing service teams in UK; drive effective resource planning, knowledge sharing, succession planning and skills development aligned to Group standards.
- Actively participating in new hirings and TUPE process
- Responsible for a seamless mission-critical service transition, running infrastructure operations and lifecycle management.
- SLA and performance assurance. Analyse trends, and drive corrective and preventive actions to protect availability and performance.
- Act as strategic escalation points for complex issues, overseeing service processes, ensuring risk management, compliance, and security.
- Provide regular performance reporting and contribute to governance forums.
- Stakeholder engagement, principal escalation and reporting point to the client, coordinate with adjacent service towers and third parties.
- Financial stewardship, budget, forecasting and cost-to-serve optimisation.
- Driving continuous improvement. Drive maturity and process optimisation (Lean IT), automation and standardisation.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, This is a senior leadership role requiring a strong ITIL-based service management background, proven people leadership in large-scale and multidisciplinary teams, and demonstrable success in high-volume, mission-critical IT operations., It is essential that you have IT Operations experience and large-multidisciplinary teams leadership, IT transition and transformation experience. In addition you will have:
- Minimum 5 years leading large-scale, mission-critical environments.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, IT Management or a related discipline
- ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundation (Managing Professional preferred).
- Desirable: Project Management certification (PRINCE2/PMP) and/or Lean IT.
- Proven experience of at least 8 years as Service Delivery Manager for IT operations on On-premises and Cloud Infrastructure.
- Proven leadership in global IT Service Transitions [OL1] and Transformations.
- Experience delivering IT services to UK public sector institutions.
- Strong background in infrastructure security, GDPR and PCI DSS compliance,
- Deep knowledge across: Microsoft Windows Server & RedHat Liunx, VMWare virtualisation, MS SQL Server, Oracle Database, CISCO networking, Azure Cloud
- Strong senior-client communication, crisis decision-making, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated success in process streamlining, automation, and operational efficiency.
