Job description
- Lead the development and execution of IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to prioritise technology initiatives that drive business value and support compliance/regulatory requirements (e.g., FCA, PRA).
- Provide expert guidance on technology investments and risk mitigation.
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations including infrastructure, networks, servers, desktop support, and cloud services.
- Ensure robust systems availability, performance monitoring, incident management, and SLA delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement via ITIL best practices and service delivery frameworks.
- Lead and deliver IT projects including system upgrades, migrations, integrations, and digital transformation (cloud adoption, automation, APIs).
- Partner with Project and Programme Management Offices (PMO) to ensure governance, resource planning, and risk control.
- Champion cybersecurity controls and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST) across the IT estate.
- Work with risk and compliance teams to meet audit and regulatory obligations.
- Manage and develop a multi-disciplinary IT team (support, network, systems, security).
- Manage technology vendors, contracts, and service providers.
Requirements
Do you have experience in NIST standards?, We are seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Manager with deep experience in banking or financial services to lead the delivery, performance, and security of core IT systems. You will manage IT operations, infrastructure, and key technology initiatives to support business continuity, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation across the bank., * 6+ years in IT leadership, ideally within banking or financial services.
- Proven track record delivering enterprise-level IT operations and transformation.
- Hands-on experience with cloud, cybersecurity, and data management.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
- Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL Expert, CISSP, AWS/Azure certifications).
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, FCA, PRA standards).
