Job description

  • Act as the on-site technical representative for IT, resolving incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs
  • Maintain and optimise infrastructure performance, ensuring resilience and security
  • Deliver upgrades and maintenance in line with manufacturer recommendations
  • Document fixes, changes, and processes in accordance with IT Security Policy and change control
  • Collaborate across teams and with third parties to ensure seamless technical operations
  • Provide innovation and advice on technologies supporting Premier Foods environments
  • Travel to other UK sites as required

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in 3rd line technical support
  • Strong knowledge of networking (SD-WAN, Aruba/Cisco), firewalls (Fortinet), and WiFi infrastructure
  • Expertise in Microsoft technologies (AD, MECM, InTune, AutoPilot), Okta, and AWS
  • Hands-on experience with VMWare/Nutanix, scripting (PowerShell), and certificate management
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong understanding of ITIL practices and experience in manufacturing environments
  • Degree-level education preferred, * Architect
