Job description
- Define and lead the organization's Data Governance strategy and roadmap.
- Establish governance standards, policies, and operating models (data ownership, stewardship, quality).
- Drive adoption of metadata management and data catalogue practices across domains.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to prioritize critical data assets and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Lead cross-functional governance programs, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
- Track governance progress, manage risks, and report on maturity and outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related leadership roles.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate governance into business value.
- Experience leading enterprise programs across business and IT.
- Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and change management skills.
- English required; French and/or Dutch is an asset.
