Job description

The role of E-Commerce Executive is to take responsibility for our client's website, as a crucial sales channel for the business. Commercially minded, you will be involved from new product development through to analytics and reporting, ensuring that products are added to their target audience, hit key sales targets, measure campaign effectiveness., * Own the online sales funnel from traffic acquisition to checkout and retention, developing strategies to improve key metrics.

  • · Manage day-to-day performance on the website (UX, navigation, product pages, checkout).
  • Oversee product listing accuracy, pricing updates, stock levels, and merchandising.
  • Work with the Shopify agency and design team to improve site functionality and customer experience.
  • Ensure SEO best practises are implemented across product and category pages
  • Contribute to discussions about new product development, providing insights on website product performance and consumer buying behaviour.
  • Contribute to the photography of products for the website
  • Ensure the website is kept up to date with seasonal promotions and offers.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify customer journeys and improve key metrics like AOV and CVR.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on PPC, social media, email and SEO to drive qualified traffic.
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly trading performance.
  • Review sales trends and adjust pricing, offers, and stock allocation to maximise results.
  • Use analytics tools, including Shopify, GA4 and Tag Manager, to ensure accurate tracking and reporting KPIs.
  • Liaise with the warehouse, fulfilment, and buying teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SEO?, * Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce CMS.

  • Experience with data tracking and analysis.
  • Prior SEO or content writing experience to produce well-optimised product descriptions.
  • Commercial thinker.
  • Keen eye for details whilst able to work at a fast pace.
