Job description
In this role, you will join a growing team providing consumer technical insight into Unilever's Deodorants category. The key responsibilities of the role include (but not restricted to):

Setting up tests

Day to day running of panels

Booking in panellists
-
Product applications including application of products to panellists' underarms

Informed consent collection
-
Sweat collection and weighing
-
Case Report Form (CRF) completion

Compliance monitoring
-
Adverse event reporting

Labelling test products
-
Use of balances
-
Storeroom housekeeping
-
Deal with panellists professionally, courteously and according to the Consumer Centre Code of Conduct and Clinicals Standard Operating Procedures (including)

Operation of laundry associated with the test

Organise the recruitment, and complete the screening, of new panellists for the hot room

Organise and deliver the annual consent and medical screening update for the established hot room panel

Becoming a First Aider for the area (First Aid training will be provided)
Requirements
- Must be female, due to the nature of the testing and the use of female panellists
- Experience dealing with members of the public and excellent people skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- IT literacy including being fully operational in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), experience of analysis and data storage systems would be advantageous.
- Enthusiasm to learn new skills
- Good time management
- The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team.
- The ability to work under pressure (e.g. time constraints)
- GCSE English and Maths (Science desirable)
- Some research or clinical trial experience (advantageous but not necessary)
Benefits & conditions
The position is based in Seacroft, Leeds. This is a part-time temporary ongoing role, requiring 30 hours per week (8am - 4.15pm on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday). Compensation for this role is competitive, paying £12.60 per hour, depending upon experience (pay will be reviewed in April 2026). Performance based bonus is also offered.
