What you'll be doing
As an IT Service Delivery Manager, reporting into a Senior Service Delivery Manager, you will support the Service Delivery Management function by ensuring IT services are reliable, well-governed, and aligned to business needs. You will manage key IT services and strategic vendors, lead service design and transition activities, and build strong relationships with operational departments. You will also contribute to incident, problem, and change management processes, while driving service improvements and identifying cost-saving opportunities across your assigned business areas., * Manage IT services for assigned business areas and vendors in line with ITIL best practice.
- Lead service design and transition activities, maintaining the IT service portfolio and reviewing service impact assessments.
- Monitor and manage day-to-day vendor performance, conducting service reviews and driving improvement actions.
- Produce clear service and vendor performance reporting for stakeholders and senior management.
- Support incident, problem, change, and escalation management, ensuring business impact is understood and communicated.
Requirements
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience, with ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundation certification desirable.
- Significant experience in IT roles, including several years in service delivery or service management positions.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, project management lifecycle, and service improvement practices.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with IT vendors, operational teams, and understanding application and hardware lifecycles.
