Position: IT Technician Location: Abraham Moss Community School, Manchester

Qualifications: GCSE Including A*-C in Maths and English Language and an ICT related subject - essential Experience: Educated to degree level within an ICT related subject - desirable

Job Description: As an IT Technician at Abraham Moss Community School, you will provide first line hardware, software and peripheral support to all staff, students, third party visitors and Governors, complete helpdesk incident & problem requests in line with internal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with these at all times and take reactive support of all user operated IT & proactive support of AV equipment, ensuring that downtime through consumable life expectancy is kept to a minimum.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of computer systems and networks (training will be provided)
  • Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Ability to communicate clearly with staff and students who may not have technical knowledge
  • Organised approach to managing tasks and prioritising work
