Job description

Hunters 4 Staff are supporting a well-established business looking for a confident and reliable 1st Line IT Support Engineer. If you enjoy problem-solving, helping people, and keeping systems running smoothly, this position will suit you well.

You'll be part of an internal IT team, providing day-to-day support across multiple sites and working with a good mix of hardware, software, and business systems., * Handling 1st line support queries via phone, email and the service desk

  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Installing and configuring PCs, laptops and other IT equipment
  • Supporting Windows, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
  • Diagnosing network, Wi-Fi and printing issues
  • Logging and updating support tickets
  • Working with the development team to test and support in-house software

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a 1st Line Support or similar IT role
  • Confident communication and customer service skills
  • Good working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
  • Basic understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing)
  • Experience with AD user and device management
  • Someone organised, proactive and happy to get stuck in
