Job description

This role contributes to a programme that maintains and evolves enterprise content and collaboration platforms, including document management, publishing, workflow, analytics, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities. The objective is to ensure these services remain stable, secure, and fit for purpose while adapting to evolving user needs and technology changes. Work is delivered within a governed service and change framework, emphasizing quality, documentation, testing, and controlled deployment of fixes, enhancements, and improvements across the full application lifecycle., * Design and implement AI-enabled capabilities for content and knowledge management, focusing on unstructured content processing, metadata extraction, classification, and semantic search.

  • Develop and integrate AI and NLP solutions using Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI and Document Intelligence.
  • Build and integrate LLM-based features, vector databases, and semantic search pipelines to enhance content discovery and automation.
  • Develop backend services and integrations (REST APIs) and support frontend AI integrations using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern SharePoint frameworks where applicable.
  • Ensure AI solutions comply with data privacy, security, and governance requirements.
  • Document AI architectures, models, integrations, and operational considerations in clear technical documentation.
  • Collaborate within Agile delivery processes and support controlled deployment of AI enhancements into the wider Content Collaboration ecosystem.

The program Assistance and Advisory Service (AAS) The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO's principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V. To provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's: NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce.
