Job description
Parico is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to work on exciting and dynamic programmes who thrives on enabling high-performing Agile teams within a small business environment. You will play a key role in solving complex and challenging problems across the Public Sector landscape, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
You'll have the freedom to be truly innovative, to roll up your sleeves, embed within technical teams and do what it takes to enable the successful delivery of impactful technical solutions to our customers' complex problems. You will support teams developing greenfield IT systems, services and software for our clients, leveraging cloud services and on-premise infrastructure components.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Facilitating Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) and ensure effective Agile delivery practices are embedded
- Proactively identifying and resolving obstacles that impact team velocity, delivery timelines and overall effectiveness.
- Coaching teams and stakeholders in Agile best practice, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability and high performance.
- Enabling effective backlog refinement, prioritisation and ensure alignment between technical teams and business/customer expectations
- Tracking and communicating progress, risks and dependencies using metrics, particularly in environments requiring governance oversight
Requirements
Do you have experience in Scrum?, * Demonstrated success supporting Agile teams in delivering technology solutions, ideally within Public Sector or regulated environments
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and team coaching practices
- Ideally you'll have an understanding of governance, compliance and stakeholder expectations within Defence contexts
- Ability to influence at multiple levels, including senior stakeholders, while maintaining team autonomy
- Practical experience managing boards, backlogs, reporting and documentation within recognised Agile toolsets
