Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to design, develop, and secure a fully air-gapped environment. This is a specialist position requiring someone who can confidently bridge infrastructure and development, applying deep Linux expertise (Rocky 9) and advanced automation skills to create bespoke, secure, and compliant systems. You'll be responsible for everything from implementing hardened configurations and firewall policies to validating scripts, supporting C++ environments, and ensuring that every component of the system meets rigorous security standards. This is a role where precision, ownership, and technical excellence truly matter.

• Strong Linux experience (Rocky 9 preferred) with the ability to create and implement bespoke scripts
• Ability to identify best practice and validate scripts from multiple sources
• Proven experience applying system hardening to Linux systems
• Advanced proficiency with Ansible, including playbook creation and offline repository management
• Experience implementing firewall rules and policies in air-gapped systems
• Event logging, monitoring, and audit configuration
• Technical capability across C++, Ansible, YAML, Bash, and Python
• SC Clearance
