The job:
As a Global Technology Service Group (GTSG) Specialist, your job is to make sure all UPS technology works properly. You will deploy technology, support our internal customers, solve problems, and help improving the IT infrastructure.
You'll be based in Barcelona, one of Spain's most important logistics hub, but you'll also give support to other UPS sites across the country where needed.
Your work will also keep UPS Operations, relying on more and more technology, up and running and ensure that all shipments are handled without delay.

Your Main Tasks:
- Install, configure, and maintain UPS-approved IT equipment (computers, printers, servers, scanners, etc.).
- Provide technical support for users - both hardware and software.
- Maintain local networks and troubleshoot connection issues.
- Coordinate IT upgrades, replacements, and installations.
- Solve problems quickly or escalate to higher-level teams if needed.
- Visit other UPS sites in Spain to support local projects or urgent needs.
- Document all work and follow UPS technology standards.
- Help during audits and technical checks.
- Support communication tools (phones, mobile devices, video conferencing systems, etc.).
- Contribute to technology disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Vocational degree (IT related qualifications preferred). University degree will be valued.

- Hardware knowledge (computers and peripherals), Windows/Linux OS environment, Networking equipment. MS Office is the standard in use by any UPS employee, no programming or advanced SW knowledge required.
- Good communication skills, in Spanish, and good spoken and written command of the English language.
- Willingness to travel within Spain along with car driving license, ability to take flights.
- Experience in IT support and systems installation is a plus. We use ServiceNow SMC (Service Management Centre), its knowledge and experience are a plus.
Benefits & conditions
This is a permanent, full-time role, 5 days per week in the office. Your working times are flexible and part of a rotation plan outside regular office hours to support the operation sorts during the evening and night.
Workplace:
Based in one of Spain's largest automated package facility, support also other UPS Spain sites. Flexibility in regards to travel, along with a driving license, is required.
