Job description
You will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the UK IT function, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This includes leading and developing the UK IT team, setting clear goals and supporting recruitment, performance and engagement.
You will develop and deliver the UK IT infrastructure strategy, ensuring reliable, secure and scalable systems. Responsibilities include overseeing servers, networks and storage, maintaining performance and resolving issues to ensure business continuity. You will work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and implement effective IT solutions.
You will have oversight of the cyber security function ensuring that security policies, risk assessments, and security controls are implemented. You will provide strategic leadership and oversight of group IT working towards standardising processes.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Project management?, As an experienced IT Manager with strong project management expertise, you will be a strategic, hands-on leader delivering secure, scalable and innovative IT solutions aligned to business goals. You will have a proven track record of leading IT teams, driving performance and managing change within complex environments.
You will bring experience across core IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, cloud technologies and Microsoft environments, alongside strong knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management and data protection. You will be confident developing IT policies, governance frameworks and security controls, and successfully delivering projects on time and within scope
A strong communicator and collaborator, you will work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating business needs into practical technology solutions. You will stay informed on emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for digital transformation and continuous improvement.
