Job description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Technician to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of technology by supporting a state-of-the-art automated warehouse, managing critical IT infrastructure, and contributing to on-site project deployments. It's ideal for someone passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to play a key part in a fast-paced operational environment., * Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and address any issues promptly.
- Provide support for industrial warehouse IT systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to warehouse operations.
- Manage, configure, and prepare warehouse industrial scanners and label printers for deployment and daily operations.
- Ensure efficient labelling and tracking of inventory.
- Assist end users with Google Workspace applications, including Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Docs.
- Provide technical support for end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Willingness to learn and support various applications used within the organisation.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
- Travel for IT installations and project deployments for new showrooms/warehouses.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff and remote 3rd line IT support.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Technical support?, * Relevant IT certifications or educational degree qualifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and basic Linux administration tasks.
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Possession of a valid UK driving license is desirable but not mandatory.
Benefits & conditions
- Rota-based: Monday to Sunday, 5 days a week
- Shifts: 8 hours per day
- Occasional working for our new sites installation support these hours in line with business requirements.
