Job description
This isn't your standard administrator role - you won't be sat at a desk all day entering data. You'll work closely with three operational teams (security, stores and maintenance) helping to keep their functions running smoothly. This is a role you can truly get your teeth into and make a positive impact.
You'll collaborate with all three teams to help draft work instructions, by observing the work, and then partner with our quality team to make sure these are reviewed and signed off.
You'll support the booking-in process for visitors by checking paperwork, performing inductions and escorting them to their hosts - you'll also provide cover if staff are away from their station. You'll raise purchase orders for goods, and when available, assist with incoming deliveries.
In addition, you'll manage assets by identifying and labelling items, maintaining equipment registers, and supporting our CAFM system by accurately recording details of completed work.
Requirements
It would be great if you've worked in a similar role before, such as facilities or site administration within a warehouse or operational environment.
You have strong organisational skills and manage your time effectively, confidently prioritising tasks while remaining flexible enough to adapt when needed.
You're a team player who enjoys working with others and offering support where it's needed.
You're approachable and professional, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Easy to get along with, you're diplomatic and capable of influencing positive outcomes.
You're familiar with the core Microsoft Office suite.
You're happy to be away from your desk and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
