Job description

Your new company

You'll be joining a large, well-established financial services organisation undergoing significant transformation. The programme team is delivering major change across multiple technology platforms, and you'll play a crucial role in ensuring all implementations are delivered safely, securely and with minimal disruption to colleagues and customers.

Your new role

As the Release & Implementation Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of all programme implementations - spanning non-production and production environments. You will:

Lead detailed implementation planning, including minute-by-minute runbooks and communication plans. Coordinate and secure resources required for each implementation, including internal teams and third-party partners. Manage governance processes such as SMAX approvals, CDR and CAB presentations, and Go/No-Go readiness. Drive live proving activities, lead incident resolution, and steer the implementation safely through warranty period exit. Support delivery leads with route-to-live activities and ad-hoc changes. Capture and embed lessons learned to strengthen future releases.

This position includes leading implementation teams during out-of-hours work, for which time off in lieu will be provided.

What you'll need to succeed

You will bring:

Strong experience planning and delivering major, complex technical implementations. Proven capability to lead multiple concurrent releases across technologies such as Salesforce, Mulesoft, React, Mainframe and other enterprise platforms. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills - able to bridge service, technical and business teams. Clear, logical thinking under pressure and strong real-time problem-solving ability. The ability to integrate quickly into an established programme environment. Flexibility, adaptability and a collaborative mindset. What you'll get in return A long-term contract running until the end of 2026. Opportunity to lead high-profile, business-critical implementations within a major financial services transformation programme. Competitive day rate of £409. Hybrid working with flexibility (2-3 days onsite). A chance to work with modern technology stacks and influential programme stakeholders.
