Job description
- Ensure all users can access and use the technology required to perform their job function
- Maintain all client devices, ensuring that they are patched and have up to date AV installed
- Liaise with all 3rd party support providers where required
- Ensure new users have accounts set up in a timely manner and leavers are offboarded appropriately
- Apply relevant digital technologies effectively to achieve objectives
- Monitor and operate complex digital information and intelligence systems
- Respond to user enquiries
- Maintain data, digital resources and data systems
- Communicate effectively though digital channels
- Learn through digital resources
- Work as a member of a team
- Maintain awareness of current, emerging and fringe digital technologies
- Devise technology-based productivity solutions, and implement these in the organisation
- Work as digital champions - training and supporting colleagues to make the best use of technology-based productivity tools
- Diagnose digital problems and provide internal end-user application support
- Assist with digital operations and digital change projects

Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to kick start their IT career in a fast-paced environment within the insurance industry. The role is based in our London office on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity, should they wish, to complete an IT apprenticeship which encompasses a blended learning experience, including the opportunity to gain a variety of on-the-job training, whilst also working towards an industry recognised professional qualification. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be able to build productive working relationships and be keen to develop their skillset., * Good level of verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to communicate highly technical issues in a language appropriate to the target audience
- Work calmly when in high pressure and ambiguous situations
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to assimilate new information quickly and effectively
- Basic knowledge of iPhones and Apple software
- Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating system
- Logical approach to problem solving
Desirable
- Basic understanding of scripting
- Knowledge of Microsoft and Apple ecosystem
- Basic understanding of networking (Wi-Fi, LANs)
- Good customer focused support skills
