An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior IT Project Manager to join our team at Hampshire County Council.
The IT Projects & Programmes team is a dynamic and exciting team with a supportive and friendly environment. The team offers fantastic opportunities for professional development and makes a genuine difference in delivering IT related project change across Hampshire County Council and schools.

What you'll do:
Expect to:
- Keep all the key players up to date with progress on your projects.
- Have excellent communications and interpersonal skills to give confidence and clarity as a project manager.
- Keep detailed records of the key features of your projects.
- Manage risks and issues within your projects.
- Manage your project resources and project budgets effectively.
- Lead small project teams to successful delivery.

Requirements
Someone who is:
- Passionate about delivery projects to time, cost and quality.
- A natural organiser with close attention to detail.
- Someone with a keen interest and a good level of understanding of IT and technology.
- A clear communicator who can translate and summarise technical project information into clear, concise and easy to understand communications.
- Good at keeping project records up to date.
- A working understanding of industry standard project management methodologies such as PRINCE2.
- Analytical, curious, and always looking for smarter ways of working.
