Job description
We are looking for a Application Support Consultant to join our friendly, positive and supportive team. You will be working in a dynamic environment supporting business critical applications., * Incident Management and system configuration of MRI Education (Capita One) and Core+ (Youth Justice).
- Participate in projects to ensure delivery of agreed new business requirements.
- Application testing and co-ordination of customer user acceptance testing.
- Liaise with external suppliers.
- Build and maintain relationships with end users and product owners.
- Write and review procedures, project and technical documentation.
- Co-ordination of systems maintenance, patching and upgrades with other IT technical teams.
- Comply with change control procedures for application updates.

Requirements
We welcome applicants with experience in IT Support, ideally including MRI Education (formerly Capita One) and/or TAGs Core+. This experience may have been gained in a formal support role or as an engaged end user seeking to progress into application support.
The successful candidate will demonstrate that they are pro-active, positive and enthusiastic, particularly towards learning the role, with a flexible attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
A background in IT with experience supporting and configuring business applications and knowledge of Children Service business processes is advantageous.
