DevOps Network Engineer D-007

Für den Aufbau und die Weiterentwicklung der IT-Infrastruktur des Deutschen Zentrums für Astrophysik (DZA) in Görlitz suchen wir einen erfahrenen DevOps Network Engineer. Unterstützt durch das High-Performance-Computing (HPC)-Umfeld der TU Dresden arbeiten Sie in einem neu entstehenden Operations-Team, das für den zuverlässigen Betrieb, die Automatisierung und die Verfügbarkeit der Systeme verantwortlich ist. In der aktuellen Aufbauphase haben Sie großen Gestaltungsspielraum, um eine skalierbare, moderne und nachhaltige IT-Infrastruktur mitzugestalten. IHRE AUFGABEN:

• Betrieb, Überwachung und Optimierung der Netzwerk- und IT-Infrastruktur innerhalb der DZA
• Konfiguration und Verwaltung von Netzwerkprotokollen (Ethernet, FiberChannel, Infiniband) inklusive VLANs und Overlay-Netzwerken (VXLAN, EVPN, BGP)
• Administration und Härtung von Next-Gen-Firewalls (z. B. Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point) inklusive ACLs, Control-Plane-Policing, DHCP Snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection, Micro-Segmentation
• Verwaltung von VPN/IPsec, TLS, Zertifikaten sowie Logging und Alerting
• Unterstützung bei der Integration neuer Software- und Netzwerkkomponenten in den produktiven Betrieb
• Sicherstellung von IT-Security, Verfügbarkeit, Performance und Compliance
• Zusammenarbeit mit internen Fachbereichen, dem HPC-Umfeld der TU Dresden und externen Projektpartnern

• Abgeschlossenes wissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium im Bereich Informatik oder einem verwandten naturwissenschaftlich-technischen Fachgebiet
• Tiefes Verständnis des OSI-Modells und dessen Bedeutung für Latenz und Durchsatz
• Erfahrung in der Konfiguration von Netzwerkprotokollen, VLANs, VPN/IPsec, Overlay-Netzwerken und Firewalls
• Versierter Umgang mit Netzwerk-Härtung, Micro-Segmentation und Sicherheitsmechanismen
• Erfahrung mit Logging, Monitoring und Alerting
• Erfahrung im Aufbau und Wartung virtueller Netzwerke (CNI) im Kubernetes-Umfeld (Calico, Flannel, Cilium) wünschenswert
• Begeisterung für Radioastronomie und den Umgang mit extrem großen Datenmengen ("Exabytes and beyond")
• Proaktive, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
