Job description
- Lead client discovery workshops to gather marketing, communication, and engagement requirements
- Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions
- Configure and deploy Salesforce Marketing Cloud components including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and segmentation via Data Extensions
- Build automated, personalised customer journeys and triggered communications
- Provide best-practice guidance on customer engagement strategy, segmentation, and campaign design
- Support data integrations with the Salesforce core platform
- Produce solution documentation and user guides
- Facilitate UAT, deliver client training, and provide post-implementation optimisation support
- Collaborate with Architects and Developers on data models and integrations
- Ensure GDPR compliance and consent management, particularly within public sector engagements, + Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Data Extensions)
- Salesforce Core Platform (integration exposure)
- Additional tools & knowledge areas:
- GDPR compliance and consent management frameworks
- API and data integration exposure (desirable)
- Personalisation Builder, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio (desirable)
- Additional Salesforce certifications such as Administrator or Platform App Builder (desirable)
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant or Administrator
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification
- Strong experience with journey building, segmentation, data modelling, and automated campaigns
- Consultancy or multi-client environment experience preferred
- Understanding of GDPR and communication consent frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Consultative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
- Eligibility to work and reside in the UK (minimum 3 years residency required for NPPV3 clearance)

- Salary range: Competitive (dependent on experience)
- Location: London-based, hybrid working model with travel as required
- Working hours: 40-hour week between 8:00-18:00 (flexible start/finish agreed with Line Manager)
