Junior IT Support Technician

We are recruiting a Junior IT support technician to support our internal IT infrastructure and e-commerce operations. Reporting to Senior IT staff, the successful candidate will assist with maintaining and troubleshooting Windows based systems, handle data management, and software integrations. This entry-level role encompasses hardware and software troubleshooting, formula development, and assisting to maintain a wide range of sales channels, such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify and OnBuy., IT Support: Assist in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues across Windows-based IT systems.

Data Management: Help build and maintain complex Google Sheets documents, utilising advanced formulas and scripts for critical business processes.

Network Administration: Support the maintenance of our Network Attached Storage (NAS) infrastructure to ensure critical file access for office-based, warehouse-based and remote staff.

Inventory Systems: Maintain our inventory and order management software. This includes managing stock, setting up new selling channels and couriers, ensuring existing software integrations run smoothly and writing complex SQL queries for critical data analytics use.

E-Commerce Management: Support the day-to-day operations of both the frontend and backend across multiple selling platforms.

Marketing Coordination: Assist in coordinating with our external digital agency for our Meta and Google Ads website advertising.

Do you have experience in Windows?, A strong foundation in computer networking, operating systems, and hardware is desirable, along with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with experience in creating and editing complex formulas.

Highly Desirable Skills

Experience assisting with Shopify stores (both frontend updates and backend administration).

Familiarity with Google Apps Script (JavaScript) for automating tasks within Google Sheets documents.

A basic understanding of NAS infrastructure and general networking principles.

Knowledge of key cyber security principles, recognising common threats to day-to-day business such as email phishing attempts and account intrusion attempts.

Experience with Google Ads, including helping to oversee campaigns, manage accounts, and create ad assets such as images and videos.

Bonus Points

Prior experience using Linnworks (our specific inventory and order management software).

Knowledge of creating and editing SQL scripts

Experience with Meta Ads, including campaign oversight and account management.

Basic image editing skills using Paint.NET.

Familiarity with writing or editing Microsoft Excel VBA scripts.
