This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Snr. Data Analyst to grow as part of the central team on one of the agency's exciting new clients. Working alongside analytics team and channel specialists in London and supporting wider European team, the chosen candidate will play an integral role in building data-driven solutions and analysis for all areas of digital marketing. You will own reporting, liaise with dev teams for dashboard development and lead and deliver advanced analytics projects for the client.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
Work closely with the media planning team to measure the effectiveness of digital media campaign performance
Manage extraction of data sets from multiple marketing/database platforms and perform hygiene and quality control steps. Data sources will include: web analytic tools, media analytics, customer databases, social listening tools, search tools, syndicated data, research & survey tools, etc.
Ability to work independently to mine marketing database to uncover actionable insights and help tell the story of what is driving performance
Lead various analytics projects including hypothesis testing, advanced analysis, primary research, forecasting, and digital attribution modelling
Collaborate with other analysts in the team to identify opportunities to improve the marketing process
Generate insightful visualizations and performance dashboards to depict data
Retrieve raw research data compiled from 3rd party media tools (competitive spends, audience sizing) and synthesize it into usable forms for media team usage
Serve as the main contact point for internal requests from the media teams
Direct media planning teams in the analysis of digital and direct response campaigns to uncover patterns and establish practical insights
Oversee development of analytical plans including proper selection of methodologies, techniques, KPIs and metrics.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, Proven experience in a media analytics role with a solid grasp of statistical concepts
Adequate understanding of analytics techniques such as: forecasting, segmentation, univariate & multivariate statistical analysis, hypothesis testing
Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools including SQL, R/Python, Tableau/Power BI
Experience with web analytics platforms is preferred
Familiarity with integrated, multi-channel marketing/advertising campaign tactics - including off-line and online/digital channels
Client-facing experience
