Energy Support Officer

Please ensure you personally complete your application and read all the instructions carefully to maximise your chances of success., Bolton Council's Corporate Property Services are seeking an Energy Support Officer to support the management and administration of the authority's energy and utility services.

You will support the Energy Manager in energy management across the Council's operational and commercial properties, contributing to the Council's response to climate change, by reducing the impact on the environment through carbon reduction, environmental compliance and reducing consumption of natural resources.

You will also support the wider strategic Services team, who have a responsibility for embedding Net Zero, digital transformation, and collaborative working across all energy management activities., This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as per the person specification.

You will have experience working in a property management environment, with a good understanding of property data and IT systems use and management.

You will be organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities, with good communication skills. You will demonstrate a professional and collaborative approach to working in a team environment.

You should also have a commitment to learning and development, and a desire to contribute positively to the council's carbon reduction programme.
