Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Document Controller to support project document management and control activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate naming, issuing, and uploading of drawings and documents to project platforms, including 4Projects and the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) platform. You will maintain and issue drawing registers, issue notifications to subcontractors, and assist with general office duties as required. The role also involves supporting document control activities across multiple projects in the South West region., Correctly name and issue drawings to subcontractors, ensuring compliance with document control standards. Upload drawings and related documents to 4Projects, issuing notifications as required. Maintain and issue drawing registers to track document status. Upload drawings and information onto the MOJ platform for review. Provide general administrative support to the office as needed. Assist other projects in the South West with document control tasks.
Requirements
Essential experience with 4Projects Proficient in SharePoint Experience with MOJ projects preferred CSCS card holder (required) Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Good communication skills, both written and verbal Experience in document control within construction or related industries Ability to work collaboratively within a team Reliable and proactive approach to work

Benefits & conditions
The ideal candidate will be based in the South West and able to work from either the satellite office in Newport, Gwent, or permanently on site at HMP Exeter. This is an initial 18-month contract with potential for extension. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
