Job description
As a Workday integration lead, you will be driving our Workday financial project's integration stream. You will be leading the design and implementation of our client's integration landscape in Workday and also lead and guide our team of talented consultants. You will serve as the technical leader and primary point of contact for integration architecture, delivery quality, and stakeholder engagement., * Own the end-to-end integration landscape for Workday Financials / HCM
- Translate business requirements into scalable integration architectures, patterns, and standards; produce solution designs, sequence/data-flow diagrams, and documentation.
- Design, build, and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST, RaaS).
- Orchestrate and govern integrations via middleware (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft), including transformations, routing, error handling, retries, and monitoring.
- Implement secure connectivity and data protection (SFTP, APIs, OAutstrong, certificates, PGP encryption), and manage integration security groups/permissions in Workday.
- Lead code reviews, establish best practices, and mentor a small team of integration developers/analysts.
- Partner with Finance, HCM, IT, Security, and vendor teams; manage stakeholder expectations and communicate status, risks, and mitigations.
Requirements
- 6-10+ years in integrations with strong hands-on experience delivering Workday integrations; significant focus on Workday Financials or HCM integrations.
- Proven experience in Workday integrations, middleware tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft), and stakeholder management.
- Requires strong technical leadership and the ability to translate business needs into integration architecture.
- Strong experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST) and RaaS.
- Strong XSLT/XPath/XML/JSON transformation skills; data mapping and error handling.
- Extensive background in secure file/API integrations (SFTP, OAutstrong, certificates, PGP), scheduling, and monitoring.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
