Job description

As the Product Owner for Finance and Asset Management Systems within Landal's Technology Organisation, you will be central to enabling financial control, transparency, and efficiency across our hospitality operations. You will manage and champion the lifecycle of our finance and asset management ecosystem, including NetSuite ERP and related integrations with PMS, HR, Procurement, and Reporting systems.

The Finance & Asset Management domain is fundamental to Landal's business success supporting accurate reporting, compliance, and the financial backbone that enables our resorts to thrive. You will operate within a complex network of SaaS applications and service providers, ensuring solutions remain aligned with evolving business and regulatory needs.

Acting as the bridge between business requirements, technology capabilities, and vendor roadmaps, you will oversee the strategic direction and operational health of these systems. You'll ensure that product enhancements deliver measurable business value, and where vendor limitations exist, you will lead improvement requests, change management, and budget approval processes.

What will you do:

You are the Product Owner responsible for the digital products that enable our core finance processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report) across the organisation including the finance Shared Service Centre.

Your mission is to deliver efficient, standardised, automated, and well-controlled financial operation through systems such as NetSuite, OneStream, and supporting applications. You own the product vision, roadmap, and value delivery for Finance Systems, ensuring that technology accelerates closing cycles, strengthens compliance, reduces manual work, and supports scaling.

Your responsibilities include:

Own the Finance Systems Product Vision & Roadmap;

  • Define and maintain a clear product vision aligned with Finance leadership, SSC operations, and business strategy;
  • Build and prioritise a roadmap focused on automation, standardisation, data quality, compliance, and cycle-time reduction;
  • Translate finance requirements into actionable, value-based product backlog items.

Drive Excellence in Core Finance Processes (OTC, P2P, R2R);

  • Ensure systems effectively support and continuously improve (OTC, P2P, R2R);
  • Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, driving automation and redesign where required;
  • Enable consistent, standardised processes across countries, business units, and SSC teams.

Ensure High Performing Finance Platforms (NetSuite, OneStream & Others);

  • Own the operational health, configuration, integrations, and lifecycle of NetSuite ERP, OneStream, and adjacent finance systems;
  • Maintain reliable data flows across PMS, HR, Procurement, reporting, and other platforms;
  • Lead issue resolution, vendor collaboration, release management, and change control;
  • Evaluate new capabilities and system improvements that reduce manual work and increase control.

Stakeholder Partnership & Requirements Management;

  • Act as the primary interface between Finance, SSC, Technology, vendors, and process owners;
  • Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and turn process needs into clear system enhancements;
  • Communicate priorities, progress, risks, and decisions using transparent product governance;
  • Ensure solutions meet audit, regulatory, and internal control standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SaaS?, * 6-8 years of experience in Product Ownership, Project Management, or Application Management in Finance, Accounting, or Asset Management Systems;

  • Proven experience in SaaS or ERP product management, ideally with NetSuite ERP (Finance, Procurement, Fixed Assets, or Reporting modules);
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, accounting processes, and compliance frameworks (IFRS, SOX, GDPR);
  • Experience managing and mentoring Business Analysts;
  • Background in hospitality, leisure, or multi-entity operational environments is highly desirable;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and third-party development teams;
  • Skilled in backlog prioritisation, requirements management, and agile delivery practices (Jira, Confluence, ADO);
  • Fluent in English; Dutch or German proficiency is a plus.

  • A full-time employment contract at Landal has a 38-hour working week, which is equivalent to a 5-day working week. If you have a part-time employment contract, your salary and vacation days are calculated pro rata.
