Working from home, with the flexibility to work infrequently from our Liverpool office (L22 5NG) when needed, we are looking for a new recruit to join our full-time team of engineers, providing IT Support to our clients who are located throughout the North West of England.
As an IT Support Desk Engineer, your duties will include:
- Providing telephone and email support to our clients.
- Logging inbound tickets and following up/completing ongoing ones.
- Supporting your team members with all inbound client work requests.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical support?, An ideal IT Support Engineer must have previous experience supporting Microsoft networks in business environments of 10+ users, for several years.
Our preference is for applicants to have experience working for an IT Support company/MSP, recently.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate recent experience and proven ability in the following disciplines:-
- In depth support of Microsoft Windows Server 2019 onwards.
- Supporting and managing Microsoft 365 services, user account configuration etc
- Network Maintenance, monitoring & fault localisation
- Experience working with Microsoft Virtualised Server Environments
- Remote Desktop Services
- Microsoft desktop operating systems (W10 onwards) - install / config / maintenance
- Fault diagnosis and resolution planning.
- A good understanding, and experience of supporting TCP/IP & DNS
- DNS / Email technologies / web hosting principles
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Peripheral / mobile device support and integration ( iphones / Smart Phones)

Do you have good understanding and working experience of the above?, * Technical support: 3 years (required)

Working hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, with 20 days holiday to begin with + public/bank holidays.
We provide extensive on-boarding/training to all new recruits to get to grips with the way we work, and all team members work closely together, supporting one another, to get the 'job done'. In person training will be provided from our offices in Liverpool (L22 5NG).
Tools to perform the job from home ( laptop, screen, phone etc) will all be provided.
Package : £27,000 to £32,000 dependent upon experience.
