Job description

As an End User Computing Engineer, you will be part of a team delivering national deskside and VIP support to business teams both physically and virtually. Working on-site, the post holder will maintain IT hardware and fix technical problems as quickly as possible.

The post holder will provide excellent customer service and is responsible for informing customers on progress and advising on workarounds where necessary, as well as the support and maintenance of end user services. You will be responsible for managing the product life cycle of service-raised incidents and service requests, requiring the use of knowledge management. You will also coach end users and share knowledge with team colleagues.

This role is office based (5 days per week).

Requirements

Do you have experience in Presentation skills?, We'll assess you against these technical skills during the selection process:

  • Experience of logging and tracking incidents and changes using an IT service management tool.
  • Experience of face to face and telephone IT support to a dynamic mobile workforce diagnosing issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience of supporting and guiding users on Microsoft, Android and Apple devices and Office 365 products.
  • Experience and understanding of supporting users in demanding environments with tight deadlines.
